Championing careers and community at Buckinghamshire’s Confident Futures Show

Last week, we were delighted to take part in the Confident Futures Show, a standout event hosted by the Buckinghamshire Skills Hub in collaboration with Buckinghamshire Business First.
Designed to inspire students and individuals facing barriers to employment, the event brought together organisations and professionals committed to unlocking future career opportunities for all. It was a vibrant showcase of local talent, pathways, and possibilities, and we were proud to contribute.
As advocates for inclusive employment, we were there to shine a light on careers in Housing and our role as a Disability Confident Leader in the county. Our team had the chance to engage directly with attendees, discussing the values that shape thriving communities and inclusive workplaces.
One highlight from the day was a community vote at our stand. Participants were invited to share what they believe matters most in Buckinghamshire, and create what they felt was missing from their communities by building LEGO creations.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who visited us, it was a pleasure to connect, share insights, and look ahead to a more confident, inclusive future together.
