Our Tuition Plus Programme provides free educational support for eligible residents' children during Year 5.The programme helps children build confidence and improve their maths and English skills, and supports children who plan to sit the Secondary Transfer Test (11+).
Delivered by our tuition partner, Unravelled Ltd, the programme includes weekly online maths and English lessons in small groups. Pupils preparing for the 11+ can also access additional practice sessions to help students improve their problem-solving and thinking skills using both words and visual patterns, mock tests and revision activities to help them feel fully prepared.
To be eligible for the Tuition Plus Programme, you must:
- be a Fairhive resident,
- have a child registered on your tenancy who will be entering Year 5 in the upcoming academic year.
Please note that the programme is not available to:
- Leaseholders,
- Shared Owners,
- residents currently progressing through the Right to Buy or Right to Acquire process.
Each year, we invite eligible households to join Tuition Plus using information from our tenancy records. If your household details have changed, please contact your Neighbourhood Manager.
Eligible residents will receive a registration letter from Unravelled Ltd on our behalf during the summer before their child starts Year 5. The letter will explain the programme and include a link to an online form where you can register your interest.
