How can you use our new Cost of Living Toolkit?
The booklet and our online resources page provide information on the welfare support we offer, people you can contact, and how to make budgeting a little bit easier. With interactive features like QR codes and the Big Household Savings Tracker, this toolkit has been designed to be used in whichever way works for you.
Since publishing these resources, we’ve received more referrals to our Welfare Advice Team for those seeking assistance. Our toolkit has been used to signpost residents to further resources and it has also proved handy for other teams such as:
- The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has used the Cost of Living Toolkit at Aylesbury and High Wycombe events.
- We’ve seen an increase in inquiries about our Thriving Communities Fund and resident grants.
- The budget planner is being used at our Community Engagement events to help families plan free events to help through the school holidays and manage their budgets.
- Our team has been referring to our toolkit and resources at weekly Community Hubs that take place at The Aylesbury Vineyard.
