Celebrating Green Thumbs: Our Great Gardens Competition Winners

The results are in, and we are thrilled to showcase the winning Gardens for this year's Great Gardens Competition. With an array of great entries, the judging process was no easy task. However, two exceptional gardens came out on top, with the Best Overall GardeA bright pink, white and green flower bed.n becoming a local talking point due to its environmentally friendly features and the Best Communal Garden bringing real community spirit.

One garden stood out from the rest for our ‘Best Garden’ this year, capturing the attention of the local community. The Best Overall Garden winner has transformed their outdoor space into a captivating oasis. From lush flower beds to strategically placed bushes, this garden is a testament to the resident.

The Communal Garden winners for this year, transformed a rather sad, uninspiring hard surface area into a wonderful community space, with bright flowers and seats for people to sit out. They’ve reported a real community feel and improved spirit and say that other neighbours come and visit. As part of their space, they’ve got a lemon tree and grow their own pineapples!

We were so pleased that so many enA collection of brightly colour potted plants with a watering can.tries this year were eco-conscious with solar-powered water features, and homegrown produce and even those making their own elderflower drinks were among the winners, runners-up, and highly commended gardens.

We’d like to thank all of our residents for joining in this year. Congratulations to all of our winners - we'A collection of potted plants and a lemon tree.d like to say a huge well done for keeping your wonderful gardens looking so amazing!

We hope that these great gardens inspire others to embark on their own gardening journeys, nurturing both the beauty of nature and the well-being of our planet.
