How to Apply for Social Housing

We offer social housing across several counties including Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire, and Berkshire.

If you're interested in living in one of our homes, you'll need to apply through the local council in the area you wish to live. Please note that we do not accept applications directly.A close up photo of three white front doors and front gardens.

Each council has its own process for allocating housing, so be sure to follow their specific guidelines when applying.

There is still a very high demand for housing therefore properties are usually let to those with the highest housing need.

Mutual exchange

A mutual exchange is where two (or more) residents swap homes.

We have partnered with HomeSwapper to give you access to a national register of people wanting to swap homes.

If this is something of interest, all you need to do is register your details on the HomeSwapper website.

The HomeSwapper service will contact you when they have located potential swap details. When you have found an exchange partner, please contact us so we can check that you are eligible for the scheme and process your application. Part of this process will involve visiting you at your home.
