How to Apply for Social Housing
If you're interested in living in one of our homes, you'll need to apply through the local council in the area you wish to live. Please note that we do not accept applications directly.

Each council has its own process for allocating housing, so be sure to follow their specific guidelines when applying.
There is still a very high demand for housing therefore properties are usually let to those with the highest housing need.

Mutual exchange
A mutual exchange is where two (or more) residents swap homes.
We have partnered with HomeSwapper to give you access to a national register of people wanting to swap homes.
If this is something of interest, all you need to do is register your details on the HomeSwapper website.
Once you’ve found an exchange partner, add your application to your SwapTracker dashboard via HomeSwapper. Our Lettings team will check your eligibility and update you through the dashboard. All tenants can register for a mutual exchange, but circumstances such as rent arrears or tenancy breaches may affect eligibility. As things can change over time, we’ll confirm everything’s up to date before the swap goes ahead.
