This welcoming session is open to all residents and is a chance to learn and ask any questions.

 

What to expect:

• A simple introduction to LGBTQ+ identities and language
• Key moments in LGBTQ+ history and how attitudes have changed
• What life is like today for LGBTQ+ people
• Understanding common worries about saying the “wrong thing”
• Practical, everyday ways to be a supportive ally

 

It’s okay not to have all the answers; this session is about learning together and helping create a more inclusive community for everyone.
