Join our Community Engagement Team for a range of free, fun-filled days this July and August for younger residents and families.
Please note: all events have limited spaces and are strictly by confirmed booking only. You must register your interest in advance and only attend once your place has been confirmed. Priority will be given to residents who volunteer with us, as well as those who complete our online surveys.

Whipsnade Zoo

Return coach transport will be provided from the Fairhive office in Aylesbury.
Back by popular demand after a fantastic day out last year, join us at Whipsnade Zoo—a unique destination where you can get up close to wildlife and explore the wonders of the natural world. With thousands of animals and vast outdoor spaces, it’s a day not to be missed.
Gallop and Groom
Tuesday 4 August 2026

Enjoy a hands-on experience where you’ll groom, ride, and care for your pony for the day. Activities include mucking out stables, feeding and watering your pony, and settling them back into the field after a ride along the bridle path.
Please note: once your place is confirmed, an additional riding form must be completed.

Return coach transport will be provided from the Fairhive office in Aylesbury.
Designed especially for children aged 2–13, Gulliver’s Land offers over 70 rides, attractions, and shows. It’s a relaxed, great-value day out with a focus on fun, accessible experiences for younger children.
