Volunteering plays an essential role in shaping our services. Our Resident Volunteers influence positive change and make a big difference for other community residents and members. 

At Fairhive, disability confidence is fundamental to our recruitment and retention practices for all our employees. The Confident Futures show will take place on Tuesday, June 11th, 2024, and is free to attend. With over fifty local businesses participating, it promises to be an unmissable event.

This week, our Sustainability Team attended the Green Skills Hub Launch Event at the Buckinghamshire College Group’s venue in Aylesbury.

As a provider of social housing, rental money is always spent on maintaining our homes, delivering new homes and investing in your communities. In our financial strategy, we accounted for the anticipated rent increase starting April this year.

We invest in the communities that our residents are part of, to help create places where people want to live.

We know many of our residents are budding gardeners who keep their outside space looking fantastic. The Great Gardens competition is a great chance to get recognised for the work and effort you put into your outside space all year round.

We recently teamed up with the Epilepsy Society to organise a session for our residents aimed at raising awareness.

Through our grants programme, the Thriving Communities Fund, we have been able to extend assistance to support the efforts of Waddesdon Hall with their community project. The Waddesdon Community Hub & Community Projects cover various areas of support including education, skills development, cultural enrichment, social inclusion, and collaborative partnerships.

Our Spring Issue of Residents News has landed and is full of the latest information from us. This edition contains key updates including a letter from Matthew Applegate, important dates for your diary, and an updated column from our Involved Residents.

We teamed-up with Travis Perkins Managed Services (TPMS) to provide funding to support Youth Concern’s vital work in Aylesbury.
