Supporting our communities together – Mental Health Awareness Week

Two people with their backs to the camera look on as two others in the centre of the image embrace and smile warmly.

This Mental Health Awareness Week (13–19 May), we’re shining a light on community, this year’s theme as chosen by the Mental Health Foundation. Community, and how we connect with it, plays a vital role in protecting and supporting our mental health.

We know that a strong, connected community can make a world of difference. That’s why we’re committed to being more than just a landlord, we’re here for your wellbeing, too.

Whether you're struggling with stress, loneliness, anxiety, or just feeling a bit low, help is available.

Our Community Hub

The Community Hub is a great place to discover support for a wide range of areas like housing, employment, as well as debt support and mental health resources. Agencies like Citizens Advice, Bucks Adult Learning, Helping Hand and Connections Support are there on a regular basis. No need to book an appointment, just turn up and speak to a member of our team. It runs every Tuesday, 9:45am – 11:45am at the Vineyard Church in Aylesbury.

Our Welfare Team

Our Welfare Help and Advice Team offers confidential support and guidance on financial worries, benefits, and tenancy issues. These challenges can take a toll on mental health, so don’t hesitate to get in touch if you need too. We’re here to help you through tough times.
