You Said, We Did – Helping to Shape Our Refreshed Rent Statements
We’ve been working with residents to refresh the look and feel of our rent statements, making them clearer and easier to read. The work began in December 2025, when we shared some initial ideas with our Influencers Group and asked for their views on the layout, colours and overall presentation.
Following that initial feedback, our Community Engagement team took the proposals out to our wider resident groups so that more of our involved residents could have their say. Some residents preferred the existing look and feel of the statement, while others preferred the proposed new layout and softer colour palette. This was important feedback for us, as it showed that there wasn’t a single preference across our resident groups. We also wanted to make sure we considered the experiences of our neurodiverse residents. To help with this, we took the proposed designs to our internal employee Neurodiversity Group for further consideration and feedback.
So, what have we changed?
After considering all the feedback, we’ve chosen the revised layout, which presents information more clearly and is easier to follow. We’ve kept our existing branding and colour palette so the statement remains familiar and recognisable, while introducing lighter, softer tint variations in response to feedback that some of the stronger colours and contrasts, particularly red when showing arrears, could feel harsh or worrying. The final design is a result of the feedback we received throughout the consultation process, balancing the need for a familiar and recognisable statement with a clearer, more accessible design.
While the look of the statement has changed, it will still include the important information you need, such as your account balance, details of your Rent Advisor, and contact information for our Welfare Team if you are worried about paying your rent or need additional support.
We’d like to thank everyone who took the time to look at the proposals, attend discussions and share their views.
From our initial conversations with the Influencers Group, through wider consultation with our resident groups, residents have played an important part in shaping the refreshed rent statement. We’ll continue to listen to resident feedback as we introduce the new design and look at ways we can make our communications clearer.
How you’ll receive your statement
Most residents will receive their statement by email, so you can get the information you need quickly and securely. Your statement will be sent securely from no-reply@viewmydoc.myaceni.co.uk and protected by a password, this all helps to keep your information safe.
Your document will be available to view for 28 days so it’s important that you save your statement into your own files for safekeeping.
